Des Moines' Tiny House Factory Serves Homeless

Coolest thing ever! I stopped off at the Market Building today and had a great chat with Pat McPherren, Facilities Manager for Joppa, a homeless outreach organization. I was drawn in by the tiny house tucked beside their building at Joppa headquarters. Not only have they embraced the tiny house movement, they're putting it to good use in serving the homeless population. They're planning tiny villages like you see popping up across the globe and are determined to impact public policy to remove zoning barriers.
